national lockdown until Dec 2

MPs have just voted to approve the government's four-week lockdown across England, so the official message is that all Tennis Clubs are to be closed from tomorrow morning and no play is allowed, singles or doubles, until 2nd December.

The Winter Doubles League will be suspended for the duration of these restrictions and all pending fixtures will be postponed.
The League Committee will review the position with advice from the LTA when the new restrictions come to an end.

At the time of sending this email , the LTA website hasn’t yet been updated so worth checking here :- https://www.lta.org.uk/about-us/tennis-news/news-and-opinion/general-news/2020/march/coronavirus-covid-19---latest-advice/   We will update you if there are any significant changes.

We will all be looking forward to playing again in December and hope that everyone stays safe and well in the meantime.

Doubles Play

Doubles play will be possible from Monday 8th June.

See our updated restrictions guide-lines.

Courts still need to be booked, but balls can be shared which makes life easier
